TIGER CATS INVITED TO PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME

The Binghamton Tiger Cats have been invited to attend the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio on Monday, August 24th. Tiger Cats Head Coach and former Minnesota Viking John Evans, and Offensive Coordinator Don Dunbar Sr. will lead a group of Tiger Cat players, as well as representatives from other Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) teams on the trip.

The Tiger Cats just completed their first season in the women’s professional football league and had a very successful year sending 4 players to the All American Team. They will return to the Binghamton Sports Dome on 1500 Airport Rd. in November to begin the 2010 season.

Hall of Fame Executive Director Steven Perry will welcome the group and accept some items from the WFA to be put on display at the museum. The group will then have an escorted tour of the hall and will end the day by putting on a short clinic for girls at adjacent Fawcett Stadium.
