The Women's Football Alliance is pleased to announce the Tampa Bay Admirals have joined the WFA and will compete in the 2010 WFA season . The Admirals are a Non Profit Organization in the State of Florida. They are the sister team to the Florida Thunder Professional Minor League Football Team that competes in the Florida Football Alliance. The Admirals are owned by former Arena Player Warren Watts. Wattsplayed 5 years in the Arena League with various teams theOrlando Predators 99 AFL,ColumbusWardogs 2000-03 and Lakeland Thunderbolts 2005. We are excited about bringing Womens Football to Tampa Bay, stated Mr. Watts. We feel the WFA will give us the foundation we need to build a competitive football team that will achieve success for many years to come. The WFA is looking forward to building a strong Florida division where fans love their football teams. The Admirals will be holding Open Tryouts forthe 2009-2010 Team.
