AUSTIN OUTLAWS DEDICATE JUNE 6TH HOME GAME TO DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS

The Austin Outlaws Women's Football Team (4-1) will dedicate their
upcoming home game this Saturday, June 6th to the Down Syndrome
Association of Central Texas (DS ACT). The Outlaws return home after almost
a month away to battle against the H-Town Cyclones (2-3). Kickoff is at
6:30pm at Chaparral Stadium at Westlake High School located on 4100 West
Bank Dr, Austin, TX.

DSACT is a non-profit organization established in 1991 and currently
represents over 500 individuals with Down Syndrome in the Central Texas
area. Their mission is to empower individuals, educate families, build
awareness, and celebrate the lives of people with Down Syndrome. The
Outlaws will use their home game to showcase the DSACT as an organization
and drum up support for the upcoming 10th Annual Buddy Walk in October,

DSACT's primary fundraising and awareness event.
Community outreach has long been a part of the Outlaw functions with
efforts going toward SafePlace of Austin, Youth On It, Austin Children's
Hospital, Central Texas Foodbank, Texas Sheriff's Association, and many
local elementary schools. This will be the Outlaws first time to support
DSACT, as they look forward to a long-standing partnership. For more
information on DSACT please visit www.dsact.com.

The Outlaws currently lead their division with a 4-1 record and are coming
off their first loss of the season at the hands of the Lone Star Mustangs
in Ft. Worth this past Saturday. The Outlaws will now turn their attention
to hosting the H-Town Cyclones and getting back on track to maintain
their division lead.

The Austin Outlaws are the only women's full tackle football team in
Austin, and are members of the Womens Football Alliance(WFA) which boast
37 teams nationwide. The Outlaws are part of the Southwest Division of the
American Conference and battle rival teams such as the H-Town Texas
Cyclones (Houston) and Lone Star Mustangs (Ft. Worth). The team's last
playoff run was in the 2006 season.
